Effective September 12, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of House Rules ("the app"). By using the app you accept them.
The app
House Rules helps you set up rules for the games you play and keep score during sessions, on your own or together with other people over SharePlay. Everything you create happens on your device.
License
You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
House Rules Pro subscriptions
House Rules Pro is optional and provides additional features through an auto-renewable subscription. Available monthly and annual plans, prices, introductory offers, and billing terms are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you subscribe. Apple manages payment and billing.
Where offered, an annual commitment paid monthly is a 12-month payment obligation with monthly installments. Cancelling renewal does not cancel the remaining payments for the current annual commitment. Review the specific plan terms before purchasing.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled under the terms shown at purchase. You can manage your subscription and cancel renewal in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app for its intended purpose, and don't attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse it.
- In shared sessions, treat the people you play with respectfully. What you and the others put into a shared session is between you and them.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time. The license ends automatically if you breach these terms.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version ships with the app and the effective date above is revised. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
