These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Burn Rate ("the app"). By using the app you accept them.
The app
Burn Rate estimates your total daily energy expenditure from the weight and dietary-energy data you track in Apple Health. Estimates are only as accurate as the data available in Apple Health.
Not medical advice
Burn Rate is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice. Its numbers are estimates for informational purposes only. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet, exercise, or health.
License
You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Burn Rate Pro
Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Available plans and local prices are shown before purchase. Plans may include a flexible monthly subscription, an annual subscription paid upfront, or an annual subscription paid monthly with a 12-month commitment where offered. Cancelling renewal of an annual commitment does not cancel the remaining payments for its current 12-month term.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account settings.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices may change; Apple notifies you before a change takes effect, and you can cancel if you don't agree.
Your responsibilities
Don't use the app for anything unlawful, and don't attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse it.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app—including dietary or health decisions you make based on its estimates.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time. The license ends automatically if you breach these terms.
Changes
If these terms change, the updated version ships with the app and the effective date above is revised. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
